Esteemed blues-rock guitarist, former pro MMA fighter and hard rocker Kris Barras has launched a new band called Hollow Souls.
Inspired by Californian collective Supersonic Blues Machine, of which he’s also a member, Kris Barras put together a British jam band to fully embrace his blues rock roots and work with guest collaborators.
Kris Barras’ Hollow Souls features long-term collaborator, multi-instrumentalist and producer Josiah J Manning and singer Phoebe Jane, who was previously a backing vocalist for Kris Barras Band.
Using Josiah’s Plymouth-based Momentum Studios as their headquarters, Hollow Souls’ studio band also consists of drummer Joe Harris (Toby Lee / Lack of Afro) and bass player Leighton Allen (Callum Scott / The Hoosiers).
Hollow Souls have premiered their debut single ‘Borderline,’ which features transcendental guitars from Wisconsin blues rocker Jared James Nichols.

Hollow Souls will embark on an extensive 20-date headline UK tour this autumn that kicks off at Bedford Esquires on Thursday 16th October and wraps up at Tavistock Wharf on Sunday 9th November.
The band also play Chesterfield, London, Stowmarket, Shoreham, Cardiff, Leek, Gloucester, Norwich, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Birmingham, Stockton, Carlisle, Glasgow, Edinburgh, York, Blackpool and Southampton on the jaunt.
