Rick Wakeman has announced a major UK tour for February and March 2027 with his band, the English Rock Ensemble.
The Wizard Of Prog – Ultimate Highlights Concert Tour takes in 17 shows across the England, Scotland and Wales making it Rick’s longest-ever trek with his English Rock Ensemble bandmates.
Opening in Brighton on Wednesday 17th February 2027, Rick and co. play Poole, Bristol, Cardiff, Ipswich, Manchester, Edinburgh, Gateshead, Sheffield, Liverpool, Folkestone, Oxford, Southend, London, Birmingham and York before concluding on Friday 12th March 2027 in Leicester.
While recent Rick Wakeman shows have focused on a complete album, the setlist this time will feature a broad sweep across Rick’s classic back catalogue, featuring live tracks that are fan favourites the world over.
Audiences can expect to hear extracts from his epic concept albums like ‘Journey To The Centre Of The Earth’ and ‘The Myths & Legends of King Arthur & The Knights Of The Round Table’ and other solo work, as well as music he recorded with YES – and of course, a few surprises along the way.
