Saxon have postponed their 40th Anniversary Castles & Eagles Tour until March 2020. New Glasgow date confirmed.

Saxon have been forced to postpone all their upcoming 2019 shows as frontman Biff Byford needs to imminently undergo an operation on his heart.

The Yorkshire metal titans have announced today (20th September) that Biff has unfortunately been diagnosed with a heart condition that requires immediate surgery. Due to the nature of the operation, Biff’s post-op recovery period will last into 2020.

October's Castles & Eagles Tour dates at London Eventim Apollo (Saturday 19th October) and Manchester O2 Apollo (Sunday 20th October) have been rescheduled for Saturday March 28th 2020 and Sunday 29th March 2020 respectively.

Saxon’s biggest ever Scottish show at Glasgow Braehead Arena on Thursday 18th October has now moved to Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on Friday 27th March. 

The new dates are as follows:

Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom - Fri 27th 
London Eventim Apollo – Sat 28th 
Manchester O2 Apollo – Sun 29th
