Download Festival 2024

Download Festival 2024

Download Festival 2024 has announced all three headliners and over 80 more bands.

Following the four-day 20th anniversary event this year, Download organisers say the festival has been ‘reborn and recharged’ in 2024 as DLXXI.

Topping the bill at Donington Park next June are debut headliners Queens of the Stone Age and Fall Out Boy, plus Avenged Sevenfold who have previously headlined Download in 2014 and 2018.

Queens of the Stone Age played the main stage at Download Festival 2013 shortly before Iron Maiden, while Fall Out Boy last played Download in 2014 when they were main support to Linkin Park.

Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates says: “We are super excited to be playing Download for the third time but as they say the third time is a charm, so hopefully we get it right this time! We appreciate everyone coming back and joining in the madness and the fun.”

Also on the weekend bill are Pantera (their first UK show in 20 years), Corey Taylor, Those Damn Crows, Machine Head, Royal Blood, The Offspring, Sum 41, Fear Factory, BABYMETAL, Lord of the Lost, While She Sleeps, Billy Talent, Biohazard and Bowling For Soup.

Other acts on the DLXXI line-up include Elvana, The Used, Hoobastank (playing ‘The Reason’ in full), Atreyu, Counterparts, Bad Omens, Dying Fetus, The Black Dahlia Murder, Holding Absence, Silverstein, Polyphia, Charlotte Sands, Thy Art Is Murder, Fit For A King, Wargasm, and many more.
